Monterrey Night
Monterrey in Mexico is a vast and sprawling modern city, with plenty of fascinating architecture and state of the art technology. What makes the city like no other however, is a more natural landmark, the Cerro da la Silla, a large, 6000ft mountain that sits atop the fast paced living.
Cerro de la Silla can be seen from anywhere in the city, and from my hotel, it looked as though all roads lead to this incredible landmass. I witnessed some breathtaking sunsets whilst staying in Mexico, and was able to bring all these elements together to capture this photographic print; Monterrey Night.
I waited until after the sunset to capture this fine art photography, with a golden glow still in the sky behind the Cerro de la Silla, I was able to match this with the artificial glow of the city as it slowly became clouded in darkness. In this print, you get a real idea of how the city of Monterrey is laid out, facing this breathtaking mountain.
