Little Town in Light

from £30.00

I took an early hike up Cat Bells in the Lake District, wanting to watch the land unveil itself in the morning light. The sky was overcast, with pockets of sunlight appearing sporadically through the clouds and illuminating parts of the landscape and its lush greenery.

With the sun breaking through the clouds, I set up my camera on a tripod and faced the hamlet of Little Town. Using a neutral density filter, the long exposure allowed not only dramatic movement in the sky above, but also a smoothing, surreal effect on the clouds forming around the mountains.
