Salthouse Gallery, Norway Square, St Ives, TR26 1NB

“Cornish Hues” will be a collection of limited-edition photographs encompassing the Cornish landscape and its relationship with colour. With high contrast and dramatically detailed metallic finish prints, “Cornish Hues” celebrates the magic that is Cornwall under clear, cloudy and night skies. With a focus on how the light from above creates shapes, patterns and stories, the line-up of photography provides a rich and varied look at coastlines, towns and landmarks in the most beautiful of weather conditions.

From the Tolkienesque jagged rocks of Pedn Vounder shrouded in golden sea mist to the awe-inspiring diamond-flooded skies over Wheal Prosper Mine in Rinsey, this exhibition will expose you to Cornwall's elements and its incredible natural wonders.

"Cornish Hues" will focus on the light and colour that the local weather can provide and how it interacts with the Cornish landscape. Each piece has been chosen based on it's colour palette and every photograph has been given a title to reflect the hue it provides. Cornwall is a county filled with colour and this exhibtion explores the array of hues and shades on offer in the great outdoors.

The exhibition will be comprised of approximately 15 large, framed landscape images, that will be the centrepiece to "Cornish Hues." All work is for sale and will be released to the buyers after the exhibition has closed. There is also a varied portfolio of unframed Cornish landscape images that can be bought and taken away on the day.

Also during this exhibtion, I am proud to reveal my Venice: Faces & Places project. With a smattering of luxury acrylic prints as well as a coffee table book, Venice: Faces & Places showcases the floating city during it's most famous street party; Carnevale di Venezia.

It is free to enter and no prebooking is required, however due to restrictions only a maximum of 4 customers can be inside the Salthouse Gallery at any given time.

I very much look forward to seeing you!
